Project New Day serves combat veterans — men and women who have carried extraordinary responsibility and stress, and who deserve practical, respectful, and effective support as they move forward in civilian life.
Our goal is to make this proven program available to all combat veterans at no cost to participants. To achieve that, we partner with organizations of all sizes to sponsor cohorts while keeping costs affordable. Project New Day matches donor support dollar for dollar, reducing the cost of a 12-week cohort to $1,500 per sponsoring organization, or less than $200 per veteran.
In our 2024 and 2025 studies, combat veteran participants demonstrated statistically significant reductions in key areas that commonly affect this population:
Participants also showed numerical improvements in self-compassion, sleep, and overall health. The program achieved a 79% completion rate, and 100% of participants said they would recommend Project New Day to others.
Veterans further reported greater clarity, improved emotional regulation, stronger relationships, and a renewed sense of agency and purpose.
See our Outcomes and Testimonials page for detailed results and participant stories.
Your organization’s role is simple: sponsor one or more cohorts. Project New Day handles program delivery, coaching, facilitation, and veteran support.
Project New Day is a structured toolbox of life-improvement methods built on a knowledge-based change framework. Veterans are guided through a carefully sequenced program of evidence-based practices they can immediately apply in daily life.
See the Our Program page for more details.
We do not present abstract ideas or motivational slogans. We teach practical tools and explain why they work, including the neuroscience behind stress, habit change, and emotional regulation. Understanding the mechanisms supports deeper integration and lasting change.
Veterans consistently tell us this approach respects their intelligence and empowers them to take ownership of their growth.
All material is delivered with compassion, clarity, and deep respect for lived experience. We do not pathologize. We equip.
Project New Day is designed to help participants:
This integration of past, present, and future is central to our model and a key reason veterans report lasting change.
We are building a nationwide network of partner organizations sponsoring cohorts across the country, creating meaningful and measurable change for thousands of combat veterans.
With veteran suicide rates remaining tragically high, the need is urgent. Together, we can expand access to support that is practical, proven, and life-changing.
We invite you to join us in this mission.
